New Leaf Forest is our flagship conservation project and a future display case that will inspire our community by showcasing all the possibilities that local habitat restoration creates. New Leaf Forest is located right here on the same property as the nursery, and it’s also in the backyard of our founder’s childhood home. As our project and native sanctuary grows, we will encourage visitors to take free tours of it. We’re taking a forgotten piece of land, much of it used for disposing waste, and slowly transforming it into a vibrant and diverse native forest habitat, mimicking the original landscape of this piece of land before this property was developed in the 1860s. This project is an opportunity for us to learn new reforestation techniques and skills that we may implement on your desired projects someday as well!
